Friday
I spent most of the day some time cuddling with my babies,
since they were going to be spending the weekend with their grandma.
Haylee was being a little ham!
After our cuddle session,
I decided to jump in the shower and get ready since
I still had tons of things to do.
You know, like pack clothes and all the necessary things that
they would need while they were away.
Since I love to leave everything until the last minute.
After my hubby got home from work around 4:00 p.m.
he had to rush and get dressed
since we were running late and
after loading everything into the car we were off to grandmas house.
Once we were there,
and we were off to the surprise my hubby had planned.
Turns out, his managers had given him a gift card for Christmas
to
Where we had the most expensive delicious food ever!
Even though everything was seriously finger licking good,
It will be the last time we eat there (insert sad face)
since every thing was pretty spendy.
Just for the two of us,
the bill was $127.
After our fabulous dinner,
We rushed walked back to the car in the freezing cold weather,
and we were off to the movie theater to watch a haunted house.
Which was hilarious!
Saturday
Hubby had to work for a couple of hours in the morning,
so it was just me all alone in the house.
I seriously did not know what to do,
Since my mornings are usually pretty busy with the kiddos.
Changing diapers,
taking aidan to the potty,
making breakfast.
putting them in their high chairs and
serving them their breakfast etc...
So what did I do?
I laid on the couch and watched Superstar.
(since I've never seen it before and my hubby said it was a funny/good movie.
which it was.)
After it was over,
I picked up around the house and got ready to go.
Once the hubby got home around noon,
we were off to Supercross!
We love making silly faces ;)
By the time we got there,
they had already handed out all the tickets to meet Ryan Dungey,
so I unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet him *insert sad face again*
However, we did manage to sneak a picture of him. ;)
It was freezing cold,
so we made sure to bundle up!
We definitely had a blast!
( even though Dungey didn't win)
Sunday
We picked up our precious babies around 10:00 a.m.
They were both pretty grumpy since they were up early,
and ended up falling asleep as soon as we hit the road.
Since the hubby and I didn't have breakfast,
we grabbed a quick bite at KFC before heading home
Once we were home,
we did absolutely nothing but cuddle, watch t.v.,
and had some delicious chocolate ice cream.
It was the perfect end to our perfect weekend.

Wow. What a nice weekend both you and your hubby had. Seriously food looks so delicious. Haylee looks so cuddly. You look cute in second photo. I love your light blue necklace. You are really a lucky woman to have a husband with good caring qualities.
ReplyDeleteSOunds like you had a very nice weekend! I've always wanted to go to Flemings. We actually just got a $50 GC from hubbys g-pa for there. I think we are going to do a date night soon and try it out!

I love your necklace both nights!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteMaria!!! I'm so glad that you had a lovely weekend, and thank you for sharing it with us here. The dinner looks amazing. But the best part is that you got to have you and hubby time (me and my hubby haven't had that in a long time). Bummer about not being able to meet Dungey, but super cool you got a photo of him at least. Some of my favorite pics...Your silly faces!!! And of course, the cuddle pics at the end. =0)
