But what I do know, is that I want to make sure to write down all the silly things you do and say throughout the day. That way we can both remember just how silly and funny you were at three years old. :)
Every time you see the little caesars commercial with the 'deranged clown', or the one where they are at the office you say "I hate that commercial." ha!
You absolutely HATE getting a haircut. So when the dreaded day comes where you absolutely need to get one, you, my sweet boy, start freaking out. You run out of the bathroom, crying and screaming
"I don't want a haircut!" And you continue to do so until your daddy is done cutting your hair. It is very sad to say the least. Well the other day, daddy asked you "Do you want a haircut?"and you said
"No. I will do this" and started making this screaming/crying sound, which was absolutely hilarious and made both your daddy and I laugh out loud.
Mommy and daddy like to whisper silly things in your ear and have you say it to either your daddy or I.
Well the other day, I whispered something in your ear and told you to go tell daddy. So you ran up to your daddy, and leaned over, ready to whisper it in his ear, when I hear you yell out "what did you say?"
After haylee wakes up from her nap, you can usually hear her making noise, so that I know that she is awake and waiting for me to come get her. well when you hear her, you say " It's the badger. I want to go say hi." and you run to the room to greet her. It's the sweetest thing I tell ya.
When you want haylee to go play with you in your room, you chase her all around the house while yelling at her "come play with me haylee."
When you want haylee to go play with you in your room, you chase her all around the house while yelling at her "come play with me haylee."
For some reason you feel the need to announce when you pass gas. Not just at home, but when we are in public too. We were at the store, and you had asked if you could have some gummy worms. So daddy took you over to the candy section, and some nice little old lady came over and said "hi. are those gummy worms yummy?" as you were trying to decide which once you wanted. And your response was " I farted." She looked so confused and said "umm..I'm sorry." I feel bad for the little old lady. That could not have been pleasant.
Trust me.
I know.
Trust me.
I know.
We went to sprouts the other day to buy some fruits since you and haylee are OBSESSED with fruit. You two could seriously eat it all day long if I'd let you. As we were walking through the parking lot, you saw the sprouts sign and said " we are going to the fruit store?" It's funny how you know that sprouts is the only place we go to buy fruit.
You recently started calling me buddy. You say "Good morning buddy" or "Hi buddy." And today, as I was buckling your seat belt you called me sweetie pie. I melted.
Haylee likes to scream and cry throughout most of the day, you know how little girls can be. Well,
whenever this happens you like to pick on her by telling her "stop it haylee" which you know she does not like and just makes her scream and cry much louder. Typical big brother.
You have been obsessed with the 20th century fox logo and music for over a year now. For a while that is all you would sing (well you still do, but not as much) and wanted us to repeat it
over and over again when we would put a movie on.
The other day mama was wide awake at 4 a.m. (thanks to your daddy leaving for work that early)
So I was of course exhausted when you and haylee woke up at 6:00 a.m. we laid in bed for a while and at 7:00 a.m. you both decided it was time to get up and start the day. You walked out to the living room
and a minute later walked back into the room touching your stomach and said "my tummy. I'm hungry." so I told you "mommy's coming baby boy" So you left, and I was getting out of bed,
when not even a minute later, you come running into the room, and seemed a little mad and said in a stern voice "what are you doing!?" I guess mama should listen and get up right away when "the boss" says he is hungry and wants breakfast. ;)
You seriously keep us laughing everyday.
With all the funny things you do and say.
He is so adorable! 3 is such a cute and funny age.

ReplyDeleteAidan sounds so cute and I love that you document his cuteness here, I just wish the internet, and blogging, had been around when my kids were young as a few notes in a a baby book on when they got their first tooth etc, is just not good enough, this will be an amazing thing for them to read as they grow up. It would be wonderful to keep it up and print it out when they reach 18 or some other mile stone too.
